Program overview
Foldie (operated by Mahy Group LLC) sends transactional / service SMS about porch-pickup laundry — for example night-before pickup reminders, status updates, SKIP confirmations, and occasional post-delivery review or referral links related to completed service.
Brand name in messages: Foldie. Message frequency varies based on the user’s laundry schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or START to resubscribe after opting out.
How users opt in (Call to Action)
End users opt in on the Foldie website when creating an account. The primary consumer path is https://hifoldie.com/signup/customer. Entrepreneur, driver, and laundromat signup use the same phone field and consent controls.
- Open the Foldie signup page from the marketing site or a local route page.
- Enter name, mobile phone number, email, and password.
- Read the messaging disclosure under the phone field (quoted below) and open the linked Terms and Privacy Policy if desired.
- Actively check the unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox. Account creation cannot complete until it is checked.
- Submit the form to create the account.
Users may also add or change a mobile number later at account profile settings (after signing in). Saving a new or changed number requires the same disclosure and unchecked consent checkbox.

Directly below the phone field, Foldie displays this disclosure: "By providing your mobile number and checking the box below, you agree to receive SMS messages from Foldie regarding your account and laundry services. Links to Terms of Service (https://hifoldie.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://hifoldie.com/privacy) appear next to the phone field. Account creation cannot complete until the SMS consent box is checked.
